Maintenance Tech

Lunenburg, Massachusetts
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, and installing production/manufacturing equipment. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments as needed. The position requires frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
 Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
  • Repair all production equipment as needed
  • Perform breakdown analysis
  • Upgrade production lines with new equipment/technology
  • Work with outside contractors working on assigned equipment
  • Perform basic electrical work (low voltage to 480VAC, single and 3 phase)
  • Perform welding and plumbing work
  • Work independently under limited supervision (self-management)
 Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalency required, Associates degree in a technical field preferred
  • Must have 2+ years of previous electrical/mechanical/maintenance experience required
  • Experience with welding, plumbing basic electrical and machine repair required
  • Experience with product manuals (reading and applying knowledge to make repairs)
  • Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (fixing breakdowns)
  • Experience with basic electrical (low voltage to 480, single and 3 phase)
  • Experience with welding and plumbing (welding components and basic plumbing)
  • Experience working in team-based environments
  • Flexible and able to work the second shift
 In compliance with the law, all new hires will be required to complete a background check and pre-employment screen.
 The hourly rate is between $25 to $32 per hour based on experience. A comprehensive benefits package is provided, including a 401k with a 10% company contribution.

    • 2nd shift - 3PM - 11PM Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 10AM - 6PM Thursday and Friday, off Saturday and Sunday
