Established, global, residential HVAC Manufacturer and Distributor is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager - West. This positon will serve the Air Conditioning Division customers, and manage a team (5-6) of District Sales Managers in the Western Region of the U.S., from a home-based office located in the region.
The Region includes - NM, CO, WY, MT, AZ, UT, ID, NV, CA, OR, WA
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM), West is responsible for developing, establishing and implementing market and distributor strategies across all assigned brands. Develops sales and expense budgets, organizational objectives, personnel development and distributor/market objectives in line with the overall goals and objectives of senior management.

  • Direct experience in the HVAC Residential/Commercial Industry
  • Managing a direct sales team, either working directly for a manufacturer, sales organization or distributor
  • Looking for a candidate that can build develop sales teams, build market share,
  • Need someone that is familiar with the market, knows the big players, etc.
  •  
  • Must have 3+ years managing the activities of a field sales force (Prefer in the HVAC field, but will look at other appliance type industries
  • BS Degree is preferred but not required
  • 4-6+ years Field sales, Business Development or related preferably in the HVAC Industry or similar
  • Experience with and knowledge of assigned product line markets and distribution channels.
  • Must be capable of traveling extensively, including driving or flying
