HR Manager

The HR Manager will provide human resources leadership and tactical HR generalist support. This position is responsible for executing HR strategies and initiatives including, but not limited to, managing employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, and other human capital initiatives. This role will partner closely with Operations leadership to deliver on business objectives for the facility to support the growth and success of the business.
Job Responsibilities:
Works with the HR team and local operational leadership to develop and implement programs to maximize employee engagement, performance and development.
Partners with leadership to develop and execute employee relations strategies that achieve operational objectives, advance company business priorities, promote positive company-employee relations, and increase employee engagement.
Provides leadership and guidance to managers regarding the application and interpretation of human resources practices, policies, and procedures.
Provides coaching and counsel to management and hourly employees regarding policies and procedures, discipline, interpersonal and teamwork opportunities.
Develops and administers training and employee development programs.
Manages onboarding activities and follow up with new team members as they integrate into our culture. Maintains high levels of engagement with team members at all times using various employee engagement programs and strategies.
Assists team members with resources and information on benefits, payroll, etc.
Works with HR leadership on workforce planning and annual budgeting.
Maintain knowledge of company policies and government regulations to ensure company compliance.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; discipline in Human Resources or Business Management
10+ years of HR Business Partner generalist experience in a manufacturing plant setting administering performance management, compensation programs, recruiting, and employee engagement programs.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel skills).
