Program Manager-Manufacturing

Greenville, South Carolina

The Program Manager will assist in accomplishing strategic objectives by overseeing multiple projects, programs, and customer accounts.

Duties will include:

Manages several customer accounts
Responsible for the successful implementation of new and existing programs in house
Works as an interface with the customer and the company looking after the best interests of the company as well as the customer
Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
Resolve issues with material suppliers and ensure on-time*- availability of materials
Resolves customer issues, complaints, concerns and reports to upper management regarding status customer account
Works with production manager in order to meet customer schedules, demands, and shipments
Works with quality department to ensure customer quality expectations are understood and company is in compliance
Interface with manufacturing engineering & production manager in the creation of work flow diagrams, work instructions, inspection criteria and information as needed
Interface with document control in the creation of documentation packages ensuring only relevant information is available for production personnel to build product
Responsible for engaging in work related activities on an as needed basis in order to meet customer demands and shipment schedules

Proven experience as a program manager or other managerial position is a plus
Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
Experience with MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Proven problem-solving ability
BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
