· Min of 3 years of experience programming / Operating Brown & Sharpe..
· Skilled in GD&T and GR&R.
· Experience with developing/documenting procedures
· Automotive manufacturing experience required

Summary of essential job functions:
Initiate internal and external 8D’s, monitor and update throughout the investigation.
Program CMM machines from data provided by CAD. Operation of CMM for daily production submittals.
Coordinate QA inspector’s duties according to the daily production schedule.
Able to mediate between customer and plant for EC changes and implementation.
Maintain accurate records (document and data record control and retention).
Provide leadership to ensure continuous progression of quality ownership to the work teams.
Ensure current quality control programs, including inspections being effective and efficient.
Plan and conduct, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions/measures..
Attend monthly meetings as needed – submit necessary reports for the meeting being either dimensional or surface audits – review of corrective required forms.
Monitor and enter required data, forms or other information for PPAP (engineering changes etc.).
Maintain gauge calibration list – schedule vendor in for annual certificating of all tools that require an outside source.
Analyze data with tooling associates or jig/fixture for dimensional issues, occasionally create dimensional data report for plant & Customer
Work to resolve all incoming quality po part issues with the vendors, notify suppliers of said issues and request action plan for containment and supplier locations.
Maintain all internal paperwork for engineering changes, suffix bumps or any changes to the process for parts produced.
Review quality issues on the shop floor with management and quality inspectors and help make a decision on parts for finial acceptance.
Assist in the plant wide resolution of quality issues with all external customers.
Work closely with Engineering Department and the tooling department to verify engineering changes.
Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.
Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
