The Maintenance Manage provides support for three shifts and weekend production schedule and ensures maintenance support to all other departments to ensure product quality, customer schedules and projects are completed timely while ensuring the safety of the Maintenance team, and those members that interact with the Maintenance team, in the production environment.
Accountable for all three shifts of maintenance activities
Manage all facility activities and personnel reporting to this position
Promote and practice “safety first” (Immediately addressing any hazards, defective equipment or unsafe conditions) Address unsafe performance of team
Ensure that all training, licenses, reports and documentation that is required for LOTO, Fall, Crane, Boom, 5s, Fire Exit, Waste, PPW, Confined spaces, Forklift, Incident Reports and Blood Borne are being completed and maintained
Ensure all Maintenance team members attend required safety and shift communication
Support all accident incident investigations in the plant as needed.
Oversee and direct Maintenance team members on all three shifts
Maintain effective department communications (Prioritized work list, plant meetings, daily meetings, and weekly department meetings)
Conduct performance evaluations of Maintenance staff and ensure all team member documentation is maintained
Perform downtime analysis on all major breakdowns
Complete correspondence, forms and reports in Microsoft Office and other required programs
Must be available for international business travel on occasions.
