Position Summary:  Primarily responsible for marketing, development and operational efforts for the specified geographical area/market.
 
General Purpose:  Client relations; problem resolution; critical thinking; operations; marketing; management; relationship building
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*           Develop marketing plans designed to drive client development and generate revenue growth
*           Follows direction set by President/CEO and Board of Directors
*           Collects and tracks all competitive information relevant to companies viewed as competitors
*           Negotiate contract terms and successfully close business agreements
*           Assist with development of new services
*           Cultivate, maintain and enhance client relationships whenever possible
*           Develop new clients and manage accounts of existing clients
*           Create new ideas and offer suggestions to enhance the quality of work and service offerings to clients
*           Inform upper management of significant issues concerning clients and/or competitors
*           Promote positive public relations
*           Interview, hire, train, audit and review team members
*           Lead, supervise, motivate and monitor team members to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and standards
*           Establish and maintain departmental policies and procedures
*           Perform audits of analysts and department inventory on a regular basis for quality improvement and training purposes
*           Develop and maintain departmental workflow, integrating company and client systems, to maximize efficiency and results
*           Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, payors and company personnel
*           Attend client, department and company meetings
*           Comply with federal and state laws, company policies and procedures
*           Other duties as deemed necessary
 
Essential Skills and Experience:
*           Minimum 8-years relevant and progressively responsible work experience with at least five years in a senior management role in sales and marketing
*           High school diploma or equivalent
*           Moderate computer proficiency including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
*           Mathematical skills:  ability to calculate rates using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
*           Ability to read and interpret an extensive variety of documents such as contracts, claims, instructions, policies and procedures in written (in English) and diagram form
*           Ability to write routine correspondence (in English)
*           Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
*           Strong customer service orientation
*           Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills; ability to successfully interact across functions and with all levels of an organization
*           Strong negotiating skills
*           Team builder working with people to achieve results and lead by example
*           Adaptable and able to organize and lead teams and projects with participants from a variety of backgrounds and work groups
