Company is a leading manufacturer and distributor of steel foundation products in the US.
    -Primary duty is the implementation of all company and government policies relating to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) at the facility, as well as being the primary mover to drive culture change where all team mates own safety.
    -Must have solid background in maintaining Environmental Compliance, especially managing Storm Water permits, and Hazardous Waste.
    -Responsible for record keeping of all training-related to EHS at the plant
   -Working knowledge of Environmental Management and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems that conform to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, respectively.
    -Prepare and/or coordinate EHS metrics and reporting.
    -Provide leadership in continuous improvement efforts as they relate to EHS at the plant .
   - Ensure that new employee training, temporary contractor training, and refresher training at the facility meets requirements and is effective
    -Actively participate in plant 5S activities as a key stakeholder
   - Ensure that daily/weekly/monthly safety meetings communicate plant requirements/expectations effectively through all levels of the plant and all items on the safety agenda are addressed
   - Lead and participate in on-site EHS compliance audits.
    -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point and SharePoint)

3-5 years industry experience
Crane and Fork Lift experience
OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance
    experience heavily preferred
    experience in heavy industrial setting, 5 years min.  Steel fabrication and machine shop experience heavily preferred
    Bridge and jib crane experience mandatory
    Mobile equipment experience mandatory
    Bachelor of Science degree preferred
    OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour preferred
