Company is seeking to fill a full time position for a Project Manager at its organization. The position includes an agreed upon annual salary, health benefits package, opportunity for a discretionary bonus, eligible for company 401K profit sharing plan and allowance reimbursement as appropriate.  Our primary client is the  federal government. We are a certified Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), SBA 8(a) Business and are Native Owned. Our government client list includes: US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE), Veterans Administration (VA), USDA, GSA, Department of Defense (DoD), National Parks and others. Our projects are mostly federal in nature and are wide ranging in scope, trades and disciplines.
 
Experience requirements are:
 
*           History working on federal government projects, however will consider individuals with complex commercial project management and estimating skills.
*           Accountable for the administration of all assigned projects and their management related activities for the company.
*           Responsible to include the successful accomplishment of the project within established goals for quality, safety, timeliness, budget, and profitability.
*           Answerable to the client and the company for control of all assigned project progress.
*           Direct the execution of the project, including estimating and management of the project.
*           Submit all necessary information to meet client and company project management and accounting requirements, working with the support of the company accounting staff.
*           Identify and secure, with appropriate approval, all manpower and procurement resources needed to successfully complete the project.
*           Monitor progress of job to verify that individual assignments are being completed correctly and in accordance with contractual obligations and the schedule.
*           Make sure that internal and client budgets are within established parameters
*           Serve as a point of authority to all members of the project team, including; site superintendent, vendors and subcontractors where applicable.
*           Maintain active contact with client to keep them informed of overall progress, to facilitate changes, and to promote good customer relations.
*           Monitor legal and financial aspects of project including; payment terms and profitability.
*           Review and approve invoices (payables) and verify that they reflect the correct current status of any outstanding invoices and return to accounting in a timely fashion.
*           Work with accounting staff, as needed, regarding status of past due payments and follow up regarding payments.
*           Adhere to  the  company Quality and Environmental  Health  & Safety Programs.
 
Requirements
 
-           Minimum 7 years' experience with project management and estimating skills
-           Full time position
-           Some travel related to project site requirements.
