Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead programs from concept to launch by interfacing, coordinating, and supporting cross functional teams (engineering, quality, logistics, and purchasing)
  • Manage and interface with internal global, regional, and functional teams
  • Organize and execute Project Plan (project structure; project phases, schedule and milestones; project organization, etc.)
  • Obtain commitment from all core team members for complete Project Plan
  • Organize and execute Project Meetings (weekly team meetings, project reviews, quality gates, etc.)
  • Track, manage, oversee and report on all program deliverables (financials, quality, timing, technical specifications, etc.) and status
  • Manage consolidated program costs, profitability, and budget
  • Manage and drive change management deliverables
  • Alongside Sales, provide “voice” to and from the customer, serve as filter, and drive consensus on all technical aspects between customer and company objectives
  • Define and assure customer reimbursements
  • Ensure application of all standardized methods, tools, and forms
  • Provide consistent and accurate status reports to management as needed
  • Identify, analyze, and respond to program risks
  • Apply fact-based decision making to current and future issues
  • Handles multiple programs from inception to final launch
  • Travel to multiple production sites (15%-25%)


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business (Master’s preferred)
  • At least 5 years experience in program management managing Series or Component automotive programs- (Tier -1) (passenger car/light truck)
  • Experience working in a global environment with remote teams using program management tools (MS Project, Quality tools, Risk Planning & Assessment)
  • Demonstrated experience developing, motivating, and leading a team
  • PMP Certification a plus
