Dynamic, strong growth, industry leading global manufacturer has an immediate need for a Country Accounting Manager (Director) located in the Cincinnati, OH area!   This position reports to the North American CFO.
This position is part of the Strategic Global Executive Leadership Team.  You will provide financial analysis and guidance to all departments in order to minimize cost and maximize productivity improvements.  Your direct reports will cover Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, and Financial Compliance.   This is a "hands-on" strategic financial leadership opportunity.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Driving business performance improvement.
  • Providing management with the strategic tools & reports to drive business results.
  • Serve as a Business Partner to the NA CFO and the plant leadership.
  • Drive excess expense and capital out of the business.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities.
  • Direct and monitor a variety of accounting activities to ensure that the business unit’s financial resources are managed in accordance with accounting principals and comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards. These activities could include AP, AR, GL maintenance, financial analysis, statutory reporting, and asset accounting.
  • Review all financial reports and accounting statements of the business unit (country) to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure the local taxation activities and provide advice to the local organizations on relevant issues.
  • Select and manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and advisors (such as auditors).


  • BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • An MBA, and/or a Master’s in Accounting would be a plus.
  • A CPA is a plus.
  • You should have 10+ years of relevant large company Country/Region leadership accounting, finance & reporting experience.
  • You must have operating analysis/reporting experience for a large manufacturing organization.
  • You should have strong manufacturing accounting skills.   You should have strong consolidations experience, G/L, A/P & A/R experience, financial reporting, forecasting, strategy development, capital expenditure analysis and tracking, budget development and implementation experience.
You should have documented success in developing staff. You should have solid influential communication skills, enjoy a high quality-of-life environment. You should be comfortable in C-Level meetings.
