PURPOSE OF POSITION:
 
Generating and developing new businesses in order to increase revenue through cold calling, industry networking and appointments.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
 
* Sell company products and services to potential and existing customers
* Prospect for, identify and qualify potential sales opportunities
* Leads - Follow up on sales leads that come into company for their territory or directed opportunity
* Effectively maintain relationships with existing customers through timely and accurate information
* Maintain timely and effective communication with clients throughout the sales cycle
* Strategize best approach for winning business in competitive situations utilizing Sales Manager
* Prepare and maintain a sales pipe as required
* Consistently and accurately update activity daily
* Prepares weekly schedule for Sales Manager by Sunday evening of each week
* Prepare and submit weekly expense report beginning of each week
* Manages an effective weekly schedule ensuring that time is balanced properly to
* Communicate effectively within the company with timely and accurate information relating to customer engagement, sales and pipeline data
* Attend trade shows and conferences as directed and setup equipment
* Preserve confidential and sensitive information both inside and outside the company.
* Follows all company's policies and procedures
* Maintain ongoing communication with sales manager minimum 3 times a day (AM, Mid, PM)
* Follows all company's policies and procedures
* Maintain daily and weekly call numbers based on assigned metric
* Close business based on established quota

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum A.A.S. Degree. Knowledge of retail grocery a plus. Knowledge of computer operations helpful.
